Mara Martinez of Emmanuel Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mara Martinez of Emmanuel was selected as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for women’s golf for the week ending April 4.
A freshman from Albacete, Spain, Martinez finished second at the Spring 2023 Cateechee Cup and helped the Lions to a team win with a 637 (316-321).
Martinez played the par-71, 5,784-yard course to a 36-hole 153. She opened the tournament with a 79 and posted the low round of the day in round two with a 74.
