Joe Amici of North Greenville Named to USILA/Dynamic Division II Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its 2023 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week for the week of April 3 and Joe Amici of North Greenville represented Conference Carolinas on the 10 player team that earned recognition from the organization for their exceptional performances in their program’s games this past week.

A junior goalie from Williamsville, New York, Amici allowed only five goals in 90 minutes in goal last week for North Greenville. The Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week played the first 30 minutes and made one save in North Greenville’s league win over Lees-McRae. Amici was stellar in North Greenville’s 10-5 win over nationally 10th-ranked Anderson. He had 19 saves in the victory. Amici also had six ground balls in the two games.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) is an organization comprised of member colleges and universities which sponsor intercollegiate lacrosse for men.

The Association is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse.
