Nikola Cvetanovic of Chowan Selected Men’s Tennis Freshman of the Month
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Nikola Cvetanovic of Chowan has been chosen as Freshman of the Month for men’s tennis for March of 2023.
A freshman from Leskovac, Serbia, Cvetanovic finished the month of March with an impressive six wins in singles and doubles.
Cvetanovic was 6-3 overall in both singles and doubles with his biggest singles win coming in besting Israel Rodriguez Rojas of 42
nd-ranked Mount Olive at No. 3 singles. He picked up a thrilling 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Rodriguez Rojas. He closed the month on a five-match winning streak in singles.
