Jackson Lahey of Mount Olive Chosen Men’s Volleyball Freshman of the Month for April
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jackson Lahey of Mount Olive has been chosen as the Freshman of the Month for Conference Carolinas men’s volleyball for April of 2023.
A native of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Lahey tallied 195 assists, 39 digs, 15 kills and 11 blocks over the final five matches of the regular season. In the month of April, he eclipsed over 40 assists in three matches and captured his sixth assist/dig double-double of the season.
Against Lincoln Memorial on April 7, the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year registered 40 assists, six digs and three blocks, while delivering a season-high six kills. The following day, he posted an assist/dig double-double with 42 assists and 10 digs, while adding three blocks and four kills in a 3-1 win over Tusculum.
