GREENVILLE, S.C. – Bridget Sweeney of King has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for acrobatics & tumbling for April. 
 
A top/tumbler and native of Royersford, Pennsylvania, Sweeney helped the Tornado go 1-1 in the month with a 273.020-257.870 loss to No. 9 Limestone and a 266.540-253.785 win over Mars Hill. 

Sweeney completed in 11 heats in both matches for the Tornado with three heat season-high scores and two even season-high scores. In the win over Mars Hill Sweeney helped the Tornado to season-high heat scores in compulsory acro (9.60), 7-element acro (9.40) and synchronized pyramid (9.75). The Tornado also scored a season-high 36.85 in the compulsory events against the Lions. She was also instrumental in team event high scores of 92.87 against Limestone and 94.19 against Mars Hill.
