Ryan Santos of Barton Named to USILA/Blatant Division II Team of the Week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released its 2023 Division II Blatant Team of the Week for the week of May 1 and Ryan Santos of Barton represented Conference Carolinas on the 10 player team. He earned recognition from the organization for his exceptional performances in his program’s games this past week.
A senior defender from Raleigh, North Carolina, Santos earned Conference Carolinas All-Tournament team honors as he helped lead the Bulldogs to the program’s first conference title. He helped limit No. 18 Belmont Abbey to seven goals and North Greenville to eight in the championship. He collected nine ground balls and caused four turnovers in two contests including three in the championship game.
The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) is an organization comprised of member colleges and universities which sponsor intercollegiate lacrosse for men.
The Association is entrusted to enhance and develop intercollegiate lacrosse by providing leadership, management, and services to its membership so that student-athletes, coaches, and other constituent groups will realize the maximum benefit from the sport of lacrosse.
