Conference Carolinas Announces Addition of Kayla Green as Conference Officer for 2023-24 Academic Year

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin recently announced the addition of Kayla Green as Conference Officer for the 2023-24 academic year.
 
Green joined the Conference Carolinas office after graduating from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She was enrolled in the prestigious Fischler Academy Premier Education program at Nova Southeastern.
 
In her role at Conference Carolinas, Green will work closely with Assistant Commissioner/SWA Jill Robbins on student-athlete programming while also assisting with championships and providing general office assistance. 
 
"We are excited to officially announce that Kayla has agreed to join us as the Conference Officer for the upcoming academic year," Colvin said. "We have already seen during her short time in Conference Carolinas that she is definitely a rising star in our profession. Her background and experiences as a recent college graduate will help us tremendously in the 2023-24 academic year.”
 
During her time at Nova Southeastern, Green served as the Personal Relations Manager for the Fischler Academy Pre-Professional Committee. As part of the committee, Green spearheaded the planning and execution of successful events, including career fairs, networking events and professional development workshops that engaged and informed students to help them achieve their career goals. She also helped provide effective communication and collaboration among members of the Fischler Academy Pre-Professional Committee along with working tirelessly to help foster a deep commitment to the mission and values of the academy that promoted a culture of excellence, diversity and inclusion toward learning, growth and success for all students.
 
Green was also a peer leader at Nova Southeastern, while also working at Universal Aventura Hotel during her time at the university.
