Conference Carolinas Announces Championship Slate for Spring of 2024

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has officially unveiled its championship schedule for the spring of 2024.
 
“The spring is always one of the busiest times of the year in Conference Carolinas, but it’s also one that we highly look forward to each and every year,” Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “This academic year is no different than in the past in that it will give us the opportunity to highlight our tremendous spring student-athletes at some of the best championship venues in all of NCAA Division II.”
 
The spring championship season in Conference Carolinas begins with the 2024 Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship that will be held on the King University campus in Bristol, Tennessee on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14. King will be hosting the championship for the third time in its four-year history. The fourth annual Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship officially begins on Saturday, April 6 with the third and fourth seeds hosting the quarterfinals. The semifinals will be contested on April 13 at King with the championship final scheduled for April 14. The event finals will be held on the morning of April 14.
 
The 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship will be held Sunday, April 14-Tuesday, April 16 at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Conference Carolinas Men’s Golf Championship will take place at the Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina Sunday, April 21-Tuesday, April 23.
 
The Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship semifinals and final will be held at the North Charleston Athletic Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. The championship starts on Tuesday, April 16 with the third and fourth seeds hosting the quarterfinals. The championship shifts to North Charleston for the semifinals on Friday, April 19. The 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship final is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first serve on Saturday, April 20.
 
The 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Championship semifinals and final will be held on Thursday, April 25 and Saturday, Saturday, April 27 on the University of Mount Olive campus in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The final is slated for a 1 p.m. start on April 27. The 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Championship shifts to its final site for the semifinals and final on the campus of Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina on Friday, April 26 and Sunday, April 28. The final is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start on Sunday, April 28.
 
The 2024 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship returns to Tyger River Park in Duncan, South Carolina for the fourth straight year. The championship will be contested Thursday, April 25-Sunday, April 28 at the first-class facility. The final is slated for 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
 
The Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the second straight year. The 2024 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin on Friday, April 26. The team champions will be determined after a full day of competition on Saturday, April 27.
 
Conference Carolinas will return to the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina for the 19th time for its 2024 Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships. The 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will get underway on Friday, April 26. The semifinals will then be held on Saturday, April 27 before the men’s and women’s finals are contested on Sunday, April 28.
 
The 2023-24 Conference Carolinas championship slate will conclude for the second straight year at CaroMont Health Park in Gastonia, North Carolina. The 2024 Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship will also feature the use of Sims Legion Park in Gastonia for some of its earlier round games. The championship will be held Wednesday, May 1-Sunday, May 5. The championship game is scheduled for 4 p.m. on May 5 at CaroMont Health Park.
