Six Conference Carolinas Programs Earn United Soccer Coaches Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year and six Conference Carolinas programs were recognized.

Francis Marion had both their men’s and women’s teams earn the honor while Belmont Abbey, Chowan, UNC Pembroke and Young Harris earned women’s team honors.

A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 179 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
