Conference Carolinas Announces Virtual Career Fair with Corporate Partners
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas in conjunction with its corporate partners and sport officials have announced the first virtual career fair to be held Nov. 13-16, 2023.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer this unique opportunity to our membership and the communities our institutions serve,” stated Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin. “We are blessed to have corporate partners who are interested in not only increasing their brand, but also giving back to our membership in a unique way. We hope this is the start of an annual event to help our students network and find employment after graduation.”
The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about job opportunities with any of the corporate partners who are attending as well as learning about becoming a sports official. There will be a separate registration required for each day of the fair.
The event kicks off on Monday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. with officials from six different sports discussing steps to becoming a sports official. The sports represented include baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, men’s wrestling and women’s volleyball. To register for day one, click here.
“I am especially excited for the opportunity to include our Supervisors of Officials in this endeavor to encourage student-athletes to consider becoming an official,” said Colvin. “There is a nationwide need for new officials and this is an opportunity for us to lead the way in encouraging our student-athletes to join the ranks after graduation.”
