Emmanuel, UNC Pembroke Tied Atop Conference Carolinas Women’s Swimming Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C.Emmanuel, the two-time defending Conference Carolinas women’s swimming champions, and UNC Pembroke, the 2023 Conference Carolinas Championship runners-up, are tied atop the 2023-24 Conference Carolinas Women’s Swimming Preseason Poll.

The conference office officially released the preseason poll on Sept. 21, 2023. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches. 

Both the Lions and the Braves tallied 32 points and each had three-of-seven first-place votes. Barton received the final first-place vote and 27 points to place third while Lees-McRae (18), Converse (17), King (13) and Chowan (8) rounded out the poll.

The 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Swimming Championships are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21-Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
