Swimmer of the Week
Alex Cerbino, Emmanuel

A junior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Alex Cerbino of Emmanuel helped her team to a win over Mars Hill by winning two individual events and helping to a win in one relay. 

Cerbino claimed first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.16. She also collected top honors in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:19.70. She was also part of the 400 freestyle relay-winning team with a time of 3:37.03. Cerbino posted a 100 freestyle split time of 53.66. 

Cerbino has now claimed weekly honors twice in the 2023-24 season.

Swimmer of the Week
Arda Hulagu, Emmanuel

A freshman from Antalya, Turkey, Arda Hulagu of Emmanuel claimed first-place in two individual events in team tri-meet against Mars Hill and Carson-Newman. 

Hulagu captured top honors in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:38.84. He also collected first-place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:43.40. 

Hulagu has now picked up weekly honors twice in the 2023-24 season.

Bowler of the Week
Connor Breaman, Belmont Abbey

A sophomore from Greer, South Carolina, Connor Breaman of Belmont Abbey collected his fourth weekly honor with a strong showing at the Kegel-ISBA Midwest Collegiate Classic

Breaman finished the event with 1,054 pins over five games for a 210.8 average. He bowled a high game of 256 in helping to lead Belmont Abbey to an 11th-place finish as a team.
