A native of Garner, North Carolina, Sanchez recorded her fifth goal of the season in a 1-0 shutout victory at Barton on Wednesday evening. She scored just 32 seconds into the match as the Trojans earned a significant divisional win against their rivals.

Coppin led Lees-McRae to wins over Converse, 1-0, and at Belmont Abbey, 2-1. For the week she posted six saves and posted her fifth shutout of the season when she made three saves against Converse. The senior followed that with three more saves in the victory at Belmont Abbey.

Fontes netted two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in a win over Lees-McRae on Thursday. The junior then tallied one goal and one assist at Erskine on Saturday. For the week he accounted for eight points and is currently tied for 10th nationally in total points and seventh in points per game.

Verona led the Valkyries' back line with 157 minutes played over two team games last week. He helped hold opponents to 11 combined shots in a pair of Converse wins. In the 4-0 win over Erskine, Verona and the Valkyrie defense allowed one shot. For the week, the Converse defense only allowed four shots on goal.
