GREENVILLE, S.C. - The 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, October 26 at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event will feature all 15 Conference Carolinas institutions.
The championships are free of charge with the women’s 6k beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the men’s 8k to follow at 10:00 a.m. An awards ceremony for both championships will be held after the men’s race.
In the women’s championship, two teams are ranked in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region rankings. Converse University is ranked sixth and North Greenville University is ranked eighth. After winning their first conference title in 2023, the Valkyries are looking to repeat as conference champions.
In the men’s event, three teams are ranked by the USTFCCCA in the Southeast Region, led by UNC Pembroke at No. 7. Converse is ranked is eighth and North Greenville is 10th. UNC Pembroke will be looking for their third straight title.
