GREENVILLE, S.C. – The first NCAA Regional Rankings were released on Wednesday for men’s and women’s soccer and Conference Carolinas has five institutions in the rankings.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Soccer Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections.
In the men’s soccer super-region 2 rankings, four Conference Carolinas members are ranked. The first rankings are in alphabetical order. The next set of rankings will be ranking 1-12. Chowan University (7-4-3), Converse University (8-1-4), Francis Marion University (6-5-5) and Young Harris College (7-2-4) are all under consideration.
In the women’s rankings, UNC Pembroke is the lone Conference Carolinas member under consideration with a 9-3-3 record.
