Conference Carolinas announces 2024 Women's Volleyball Championship bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Emmanuel University has claimed the top seed in the 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Championship which begins on Saturday, November 16.

The Lions, who posted a 17-1 record in Conference Carolinas play won the Southwest Division and own an overall record of 21-9. Emmanuel earned the top spot with a KPI of .204, and advances to the tournament semifinals at North Charleston Athletic Center in North Charleston, South Carolina on Friday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m.

East Division champion, the University of Mount Olive also advances to the semifinals as they earned the second seed with a KPI of .191. The Trojans own an overall record of 20-7 and went 16-2 in Conference Carolinas contest. They will play in the second semifinal on Friday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Francis Marion University earned the third seed with a KPI of .128 as they advance to the quarterfinals on November 21. The Patriots own an overall record of 16-12 while going 14-4 in league play and will play the winner of the Shorter University (16-13, 11-7), UNC Pembroke (14-17, 11-7), and Belmont Abbey College (7-20, 5-13) preliminary round. That quarterfinal match will be on Friday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m.

UNC Pembroke earned the sixth seed and will host No. 7 Shorter University and No. 12 Belmont Abbey College on Sunday, November 17 in Pembroke, N.C. The Hawks will take on Belmont Abbey at 2:00 p.m. with the winner taking on UNC Pembroke at 4:30 p.m.

The fourth and fifth seeds are the Northwest Division co-champions, North Greenville University and Converse University. North Greenville will be the fourth seed with a KPI of .114 while the Valkyries take the fifth seed with a .091 KPI.

North Greenville (17-13, 14-4) will host ninth seed Southern Wesleyan University (10-14, 7-11) and 10th seed Young Harris College (6-15, 6-11) in Tigerville, South Carolina on Saturday, November 16. The Warriors will face Young Harris at 4:30 p.m. with the winner taking on North Greenville at 7:00 p.m.

Converse (19-9, 13-5) will host eighth seed King University (11-11, 9-9) and 11th seed Barton College (7-18, 4-13) on Saturday, November 16 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. King will face Barton at 11:00 a.m. with the winner taking on Converse at 2:00 p.m.
