Mount Olive picked to win Conference Carolinas Women's Indoor Track & Field title

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University Mount Olive was picked to win their 11th title in program history in the 2024-25 Conference Carolinas Women’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference announced on Tuesday.

The Trojans, who won seven straight championships from 2014-20 and two of the last three, received 117 points and seven first-place votes in the poll. Converse University won their first league title in 2024 and the Valkyries were picked second with 112 points and four first-place votes while, UNC Pembroke, was picked third with 102 points and the remaining first-place vote. North Greenville University was selected fourth with 87 points while Belmont Abbey College rounded out the top five with 82 points.

Lees-McRae College was chosen sixth with 63 points and was followed by Southern Wesleyan University (59), Barton College (46), Emmanuel University (39), King University (36), Erskine College (26) and Young Harris College (23).

The 2025 Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on February 23-24 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
