WOMEN'S SWIMMING

Alison Ludeman | Converse | Freshman | Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Ludeman helped the Valkyries to a 120-83 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday afternoon with a pair of individual wins and a relay win. Individually, the freshman, won the 200 meter freestyle with a time of 1:58.33, and won the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 54.72 seconds. She then swam leadoff for the Valkyries 400 freestyle relay team and helped Converse secure an event win with a time of 3:45.82.

Nedas Giedraitis | Emmanuel | Sophomore | Utena, Lithuania

Giedraitis helped Emmanuel defeat King University and Mars Hill University on Saturday with three first place finishes. He touched the wall in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 50.87 seconds before helping a pair of relays to first place finishes. He helped the 200 yard medley relay finish in 1:37.58, swimming the first 50 yard butterfly leg in 23.01 seconds, and the 200 freestyle relay touched the wall in 1:26.69 where he swam the final leg in 21.50 seconds.

Abigail Watson | North Greenville | Sophomore | Johannesburg, South Africa

For the week, Watson went 2-0 in doubles play and split a pair of singles matches. She topped Hanna Frazer of Mars Hill 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles before earning a pair of No. 1 doubles wins. In doubles, Watson earned a 6-0 win over Frazer and Mishra of Mars Hill and topped Ronconi/Sompyrac of Anderson 7-5.

Gabriel Pegoraro | North Greenville | Sophomore | São Bernardo do Camp, Brazil

Pegoraro posted two singles wins and split a pair of singles matches for the Trailblazers last week. At No. 3 singles, he topped Paul-Antoine Pelzer of Mars Hill 6-3, 6-4 and came back to defeat Wynn Shioi of Anderson 4-6, 6-4 (11-9). In doubles play, Pegoraro topped Mehmendi and Aslan of Mars Hill 6-3.

Hailey Jansky | Emmanuel | Junior | Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Jansky posted an individual average of 198 with a high game of 236 in the six games of the Traditional Team format at the USBC Collegiate Bowlero Southern Open. She earned a top 10 individual finish and lead Emmanuel to a USBC Collegiate Top 10 Tier I finish.

Owens was the top finisher from Conference Carolinas at the Bowlero Southern Classic to lead Belmont Abbey. The sophomore averaged 220.3 pins over six games with a 1,322 total. He posted five games over 200 with a high game of 255.
