A senior from Orlando, Florida, Hormazabal reached the NCAA provisional mark in the triple jump and hit three Conference Carolinas qualifying standards, as the Trojans competed at the Liberty Kickoff. She hit the NCAA standard in the triple jump after placing fourth overall following a leap of 12.16 meters, which ranks fourth in NCAA Division II. Additionally, Hormazabal posted a league qualifying mark after leaping 5.61 meters in the long jump to finish fourth, which sits third all-time in program history. She also hit the conference standard in the high jump after clearing 1.55 meters, the sixth-best mark in Mount Olive history.

Futoria Harris | Mount Olive | Sprints | Freshman | Fayetteville, North Carolina

In her collegiate debut, Harris established a new Conference Carolinas record in the 60-meter dash and hit a pair of NCAA marks, as Mount Olive competed at the Liberty Kickoff. She set a new league and program record on Friday with a third-place finish in the 60 meter dash after crossing the line in 7.49 seconds. Her mark passes the previous record held by former Mount Olive sprinter Jaylin Reeves, who set a time of 7.52 seconds in 2023. Harris reached the NCAA provisional standard and ranks sixth in NCAA Division II in the event. Additionally, Harris registered an NCAA provisional standard in the 200-meter dash and posted the second-fastest mark in program history with a time of 24.60 seconds.

Charles McCord | Southern Wesleyan | Freshman | Clemson, South Carolina

At the Visit Winston-Salem College Kickoff, McCord posted a long jump of 7.00 meters, giving him a first place finish. He also won the triple jump with an NCAA Division II qualifying mark of 15.06 meters. That triple jump also set a new school record and currently ranks first in nation in the triple jump.

Dorian Bomar | Converse | Sophomore

Bomar ran 6.76 seconds in the 60 meter final at the Winston-Salem College Kickoff. That time is tied for the 10th-fasted time in Division II this season, fourth in the southeast region and first in Conference Carolinas. It also hits an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. The sophomore then finished fourth overall and third among Division II runners in the 200 meters.

Savannah Bramhall | Mount Olive | 160 pounds | Sophomore | Charlotte, North Carolina

A sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina, Bramhall produced a 4-0 record at 160 pounds, as Mount Olive collected four dual meet victories at the Trojan Duals on Sunday. In the opening dual against Newberry, she posted a dominant 10-0 tech fall over Madison Edens in a 42-7 win. Bramhall received a forfeit against Greensboro before battling to victory via fall against Rihana Carson of Emory & Henry in a 45-5 win. In the final match against Allen, she won via injury default while holding the lead, as UMO claimed a 40-8 victory in the dual.

Raife Smart | Mount Olive | 197 pounds | Sophomore | Stratford, Wisconsin

A native of Stratford, Wisconsin, Smart posted a 2-0 mark at 197 pounds while competing at the Trojan Duals on Sunday. In a dual against Emory & Henry, Smart delivered a dominant first-period fall over Evan Alger in a 53-4 win over the Wasps. Later in the day, Smart earned another victory via fall against Sekou Bangoura, as Mount Olive cruised to a 49-5 win versus Allen.
