KJ Jones of Emmanuel Represents Conference Carolinas on Trevor Hudgins Award Top 25 Watch List
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee announced the top 25 watch list for the inaugural Trevor Hudgins Award and KJ Jones II of Emmanuel was on the list.
Jones II currently leads NCAA Division II in points per game (25.0), total points (550), free throws made (188) and free throws attempted (211). The junior from Atlanta, Georgia is shooting 47.6 percent (160-of-336) from the field and leads the league in free throw percentage (.891). He is also fourth in Conference Carolinas in assists (88) and assists per game (4.0 per game).
The Trevor Hudgins Award will be presented annually to the senior who has had the finest overall four-year career within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be overall career statistics and achievements, team achievements, awards, and personal character. The player must have played his entire career at the small college level. This will be the highest award given to a four-year player within Small College Basketball.
