USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards: 10 Programs, 21 Student-Athletes Represent Conference Carolinas
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic honors for the fall of 2023 and 10 Conference Carolinas men’s and women’s cross country programs and 21 student-athletes earned recognition.
Converse, Lees-McRae, North Greenville, UNC Pembroke and Young Harris had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized. Additionally, nine men and 12 women earned All-Academic honors and they are listed below.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
