Kylie Brophy of Belmont Abbey Named NCATA Specialist of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Kylie Brophy of Belmont Abbey was chosen as the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Specialist of the Week.
The honor marks the second consecutive week that a Belmont Abbey acrobatics & tumbling student-athlete has garnered the honor. Erena Chaples was selected as the Specialist of the Week just one week earlier.
A junior from Fort Myers, Florida, Brophy competed as a base in all three tumbling heats for Belmont Abbey last week. She led the Crusaders to three scores of 9.7 or higher in the pyramid event, including a meet-best 9.90 in the open pyramid heat.
