GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released the 2024 Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship bracket after the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024.
UNC Pembroke earned the top seed in the 2024 Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship that returns to Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on the campus of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the fourth time in the 2023-24 academic year.
The bracket for the Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Championship was determined through the use of KPI, but due to Conference Carolinas tiebreaking procedures when a comparison of KPI values is within .002, the eighth seed in the championship was awarded to Young Harris due to a head-to-head win over Belmont Abbey during the regular season.
The first two rounds (held on campus at the fourth-sixth seeds) of the Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Basketball Championships will be contested on Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be held at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. The men’s final will feature a 1 p.m. tipoff on March 10, while the women’s final is scheduled for a 4 p.m. tipoff.
The Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Basketball Championships will also feature the Spirit Championships for the third consecutive year, which includes being held in the main arena of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium for the second straight year. The Spirit Championships are scheduled for the morning of Saturday, March 9.
