Lander Captures NCAA Super Region II Title for Second Straight Year; 30 From Conference Carolinas Qualify for National Championship

GREENWOOD, S.C. – A total of 30 from Conference Carolinas qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships, while Lander claimed the team title at the Super Region II Championships on Saturday, March 2 at Horne Arena on the campus of Lander University. 
 
Lander claimed a total of 160.5 points to capture the region title for the second consecutive season. UNC Pembroke finished in second with a team tally of 127.5. Newberry was third with 118 team points, while King was fourth with 82.5 points.
 
The top three wrestlers in each of the 10 weight classes at the regional qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships that will be held March 15-16 in Wichita, Kansas at Hartman Arena.
