Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Emma Bentz, Erskine

Bentz went 4-0 last week in leading the Flying Fleet to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins. Playing at the top flight in singles and doubles, the senior defeated Abigail Watson of North Greenville 6-3, 6-0 before topping Mount Olive's Lara Stamereilers 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (3) in singles play.

In doubles play, Bentz, along with partner Luize Valtere defeated North Greenville's Grace Katzman and Kyla Steyn 6-2 before earning a 6-2 win over Valeria Guerrero and Jessica Aylward of Mount Olive.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Martin Barbera, Francis Marion

In Francis Marion's only match last week, Barbera went 1-0 in both singles and doubles. The junior defeated Barton's Felipe Mioch 6-2, 6-3 at No.1 singles. Playing at No. 1 doubles, he and Leonel Gonzalez defeated Wilhelm Karlsson and Johan Holgersson 6-4. Barbera and Gonzalez are ranked No. 38 in the latest ITA rankings with an 8-1 record.
