Conference Carolinas Places 23 on CSC All-District Basketball Teams
GREENVILLE, S.C. - The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women’s Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Conference Carolinas had 22 student-athletes named to the All-District teams with seven different programs each having multiple honorees across both sports.
In women's basketball, Belmont Abbey had four, Mount Olive had three while King and UNC Pembroke had two apiece. Barton, Chowan, Converse and Francis Marion all had one honoree.
For the men, Chowan, Mount Olive and Young Harris each at two honorees while Belmont Abbey and King had one apiece.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16 (women) and April 17 (men). The CSC Academic All-District® team includes the student-athletes listed
here.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
