2024 Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship Preview

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The 2024 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship will take place in the Student Center Complex on the campus of King University in Bristol, Tennessee on April 13-14.

The fourth annual Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship returns to the Student Center Complex after it was held at Horne Arena on the campus of Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina last year. The first two championships were held in the Student Center Complex in 2021 and 2022.
Converse won the inaugural team championship in 2021 with a narrow 273.080-266.905 victory over King in the final. Limestone captured its first-ever Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship title in 2022 with a 264.010-260.395 victory over Converse in the championship meet. Limestone repeated as champions last season, defeating Coker 269.960-258.250.

The championship started last weekend with a pair of quarterfinal matches that saw third seed Lander defeat sixth seed Emmanuel 244.735-241.275 in Greenwood, South Carolina while fifth seed Converse upset fourth seed Belmont Abbey 256.475-254.725 in Belmont, North Carolina.

Three-time regular season champion, and top seed Limestone, will match up with Converse in the first semifinal on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. before second seeded Coker takes on Lander at 3:00 p.m.

Limestone is currently ranked ninth in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) championship rankings with an overall record of 10-0. The Saints went 8-0 in Conference Carolinas meets this year.

In addition to the team championship, Conference Carolinas will also host the Individual event finals at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 14. The championship final featuring the two winners of the semifinals is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
