Limestone wins third straight acrobatics & tumbling championship

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Limestone captured their third straight Conference Carolinas acrobatics & tumbling championship in dramatic fashion on Sunday evening. The top-seeded Saints came from behind in the final two events to defeat third-seeded Lander 259.010-252.820 and take the 2024 crown.

Limestone grabbed a narrow lead in the compulsory event, but Lander posted solid acro and pyramid events to take a 93.050-91.175 lead at halftime. Limestone chipped away in the toss event, and took the lead with a huge tumbling event. The Saints outscored Lander 52.675-48.050 in tumbling to take a 171.050-168.200 lead.
Limestone then scored 87.960 in the team event, while Lander scored 84.620. That gave Limestone the win 259.010-252.820.
