North Greenville in first after opening day of 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – North Greenville ended the first day with three in the top-four individually to own the team lead at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship at the par-72, 5,801-yard course setup at the Carolina Country Club.
North Greenville posted a 302 as a team in the opening round to take a 20-stroke advantage into day two. King and Converse are both tied for second after carding a team score of 322 on Sunday.
North Greenville’s Brenna Miller carded a 1-over 73 to finish the first round in second individually, while teammate Nicole Kramer is third at 2-over 74. North Greenville’s Caroline Whitt is fourth after day one at 3-over 75.
Emmanuel’s Mara Martinez collected the best round of the day with an even-par 72 in the opening round.
