Five Conference Carolinas members mentioned in NCAA Southeast Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS – In the first set of NCAA Regional rankings, three Conference Carolinas members are ranked men's tennis with two ranked in each softball, and women's tennis.
The first set of rankings are ranked in alphabetical order before the second set on Wednesday, April 24 will be ranked 1-10.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections.
In softball, Francis Marion and Mount Olive are ranked as Francis Marion is 37-10 overall, going 33-10 in region contests while Mount Olive is 32-11 overall and in southeast region contests.
Barton and Erskine are both ranked in women's tennis as Barton is 10-3 overall and 9-3 in region contests. Erskine is 16-2 overall and in region matches.
In men's tennis, Barton, Mount Olive and Young Harris are among the region's top 10. Barton is 7-6 overall and 7-5 in region matches while Mount Olive is 13-2 overall and in region contests. Young Harris owns a 9-6 overall record and 9-5 mark in region matches.
