Belmont Abbey swept Mount Olive while North Greenville came back to defeat King 3-1. Top seed Belmont Abbey swept fourth seed Mount Olive in the first semifinal behind a highpowered offense. Belmont Abbey hit .420 for the match, including a blistering .650 in the second set. After winning the first set 25-19, the Crusaders pulled away to the 25-15 second-set win behind 14 kills against one error. Mount Olive used a 6-0 run to take a 20-18 lead in the third set, but the Crusaders closed the match on a 7-3 run, including the last three points to take the set 25-23 and the match 3-0. The Crusaders were led by 17 kills and .375 attack percentage from Zach Puentas while Jibriel Elhaddad posted a .786 attack percentage with 11 kills. Joseph Morris handed out 34 assists. Justin Gregory led Mount Olive with 13 kills while Kory Grant handed out 25 assists. In the second semifinal, sixth seed King got off to a hot start, taking the first set 25-22 behind a solid defensive performance that held North Greenville to an .077 attack percentage. However, the second-seeded Crusaders responded by hitting .583 to win the second set 25-15. The Crusader offense continued to play at a high level, winning the third set 25-16 behind a .480 attack percentage. The fourth set was tight until a 4-0 spurt started a 9-3 run that gave North Greenville a 24-19 lead. King, however, responded with five straight points to even the set at 24. The teams traded points before North Greenville scored consecutive points to take the set 27-25 and the match 3-1.
