Conference Carolinas announces 2024 Men's Tennis Bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced the bracket for the 2024 Men’s Tennis Championship as Young Harris earned the top seed after winning their first Conference Carolinas regular season title.

Young Harris finished the season with a perfect 8-0 mark in Conference Carolinas play to take the title and top seed. The Mountain Lions are 12-7 overall and are in the first semifinal on the morning of Saturday, April 27.

In the semifinal, Young Harris will face the team remaining from fourth seed Mount Olive, fifth seed Barton, eighth seed Lees-McRae, and ninth seed North Greenville. The first round pits Barton (8-9, 5-3 CC) against Lees-McRae (7-12, 2-6 CC) and Mount Olive (14-3, 6-2 CC) against North Greenville (4-13, 2-6 CC). The winners will then face each other before facing Young Harris.

On the other side of the bracket, second seed Emmanuel is in Saturday’s semifinal with an overall record of 13-5, going 7-1 in league matches. Third seed
Belmont Abbey is in the quarterfinal with a record of 22-18, 6-2 in conference play. They await the winner of sixth seed Francis Marion (11-7, 5-3 CC) and seventh seed Converse (8-9, 3-5 CC).

The three first round matches are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 26 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina. The quarterfinal matches follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at 9:00 p.m.
