2024 Women's Tennis All-Conference selections announced

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their 2024 women’s tennis all-conference awards prior to the start of the 2024 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship on Friday, April 26.

The all-conference awards were voted on by the Conference Carolinas women’s tennis head coaches.

Tilde Howeler of Barton garnered player of the year honors as she posted a 6-3 mark in Conference Carolinas single matches while going 12-6 overall. In doubles play, she went 16-2 overall, including a perfect 9-0 mark in Conference Carolinas matches.

Mount Olive’s Lara Stamereilers was selected freshman of the year after she went 7-1 in Conference Carolinas singles matches and 10-7 overall. In doubles play, Stamereilers posted a 5-2 mark in Conference Carolinas play, going 8-7 overall.

Michael Salomon of Belmont Abbey was tabbed coach of the year after leading the Crusaders to an 18-10 overall record this season. Belmont Abbey finished fourth in the standings with a 7-2 mark in Conference Carolinas play.
