Conference Carolinas announces 2024 men's tennis all-conference honors

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their 2024 men’s tennis all-conference awards prior to the start of the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship on Friday, April 26.

The all-conference awards were voted on by the Conference Carolinas men’s tennis head coaches.

Martin Barbera of Francis Marion was selected player of the year after posting a 7-1 mark in Conference Carolina singles matches. He is 13-5 overall in singles this season. In doubles play, he owns a 6-2 mark in Conference Carolinas play and 13-3 overall doubles mark.

Mount Olive’s Krisoffer Dalbak was tabbed freshman of the year as he recorded 15-2 overall record, going 8-0 in Conference Carolinas singles matches. In doubles play, Dalbak posted a 9-7 overall record while earning a 5-3 mark in Conference Carolinas matches.

Marcy O’Connor was named coach of the year after guiding Young Harris to their first Conference Carolinas regular season title. The Mountain Lions posted a perfect 8-0 record in Conference Carolinas matches and are 11-6 overall this season.
