WILSON, N.C. – The semifinals of the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Championship saw the top two seeds advance to Sunday’s final.

In the first semifinal, top seed Mount Olive defeated fourth seed Barton 16-10. Barton took a 2-1 lead before Mount Olive came back with three straight goals to take a 4-2 lead after the first period. The Trojans then extended their lead in the second quarter to hold a 9-5 lead at the half. Mount Olive put the game out of reach, scoring the first three goals of the fourth quarter to take a 16-8 lead and take the contest 16-10. Chapman Parker scored four goals and added an assist to lead Mount Olive while Benjamin Vanderkley added three goals and an assist.

In the second semifinal, second seed Belmont Abbey got used a big first quarter to defeat North Greenville 24-13. Belmont Abbey opened up an 8-2 lead after the first quarter and led 15-8 at halftime. Belmont Abbey continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring North Greenville 9-5 in the second half. Nate Lorenzo led Belmont Abbey with four goals and one assist while Davis McCulley, Tre Childers and Jacob Power added three goals apiece.

Mount Olive and Belmont Abbey will square off in the 2024 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Sunday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Barton College in Wilson, N.C.
