Conference Carolinas releases 2024 men's golf all-conference accolades

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their men’s golf all-conference selections following the completion of the men’s golf championship.

Harrison Wierse of Barton garnered golfer of the year honors after winning the individual conference title in a playoff. Wierse led Conference Carolinas with an average of 71.0 strokes per round, playing in 33 rounds. He shot one-under, 215 in the Conference Carolinas Championship and took the title of two of his teammates in a playoff.

Belmont Abbey’s Connor Rose was named freshman of the year as he 22nd at the Conference Carolinas Championship. Rose played in 33 rounds and averaged 75.0 strokes per round in his rookie campaign.

Derek Hamm of Barton was selected coach of the year after leading the Bulldogs to the Conference Carolinas title. Barton finished with a team score of three-under 861 to win the tournament by 35 strokes. All five Bulldog golfers finished in the top 10 to earn all-tournament honors.
