Limestone ranked 9th in second set of NCATA Championship Rankings
GREENVILLE, S.C. - In the second set of National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) 2024 championship rankings, Limestone is ranked ninth.
The Saints finished the regular season with an overall record of 10-0, including an 8-0 mark in Conference Carolinas meets. The Saints won Conference Carolinas regular season title and are the top seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship. They will compete on Saturday, April 13 in a semifinal contest at 12:00 p.m. Limestone will face either four seed Belmont Abbey or fifth seed Converse.
The NCATA championships committee considers the overall performance of teams throughout the season thus far and utilized the following criteria to consider team rankings: W/L record, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition, common opponents, average meet score (adjusted to remove high/low), average meet start value (adjusted to remove high/low), score differential (adjusted to remove high/low) and the teams’ progression throughout the season.
The final of regular season rankings will be released on April 10. The 2024 championship field and at-large qualifiers for event finals will be released on Monday, April 15.
