Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Ariana Jativa, Erskine

Jativa went 3-1 last week, winning both of her singles matches and splitting a pair of doubles matches. Playing at No. 1 singles, she defeated Chowan's Manuela Jimenez 6-2, 6-2 before topping Barton's Silvia Fernandez-Trabadelo 6-2, 7-6 at the second flight.

In doubles play, she teamed up with Emma Bentz to defeat Chowan's Jimenez and Selene Kentish 6-2 at the top flight.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Christian Winstead, Belmont Abbey

Winstead finished 4-1 on the week as he competed against three conference opponents. He went 3-0 in singles play with wins at No. 3 against Henrique Castro of Emmanuel 6-1, 6-3 and No. 2 singles against Young Harris' Rodrigo Mendoza, 6-3, 7-5 and Lees-McRae's Andrew Kunaka 7-5, 6-1.

He split two doubles matches on the week as well in the No. 2 spot, earning a 6-0 win with Nicholas Caryover Andrew Kunaka and Andy Tallafigo of Lees-McRae.

Connor Johnson, Young Harris

Johnson finished fifth at the Cherokee Spring Bash, shooting 79 in the first round and 80 in the second round for a tournament total of 159.

Jahr won The Trojan by seven strokes with a three-round score of 14-under 202. He shot eight-under 64 in the opening round before closing with two rounds of three-under 69.
