Three Conference Carolinas individuals garner All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse

GREENVILLE, S.C. – USA Lacrosse announced their NCAA Division II women’s All-Americans on Wednesday and three Conference Carolinas student-athletes were recognized.

Paige Murphy of Emmanuel and Logan Hibbard of Mount Olive both garnered third team honors while Mount Olive’s Madison Dow garnered honorable mention honors. All three earned first team All-Conference Carolinas honors and major awards from the league.

Murphy was the league’s freshman of the year while Hibbard was selected as the league’s player of the year and Dow garnered defensive player of the year honors.

Hibbard was among the league leaders in goals and assists, ranking her second in the league with an average of 5.89 points per game. She scored 63 goals and added 43 assists for a total of 106 points.

Dow ranked fifth in the league with an average of 2.00 caused turnovers per game and averaged 2.00 ground balls per game.

Murphy led NCAA Division II with 113 goals for an average of 6.16 goals per game. She added 38 assists to average 8.16 points per game and lead Conference Carolinas. Her 2.00 assists per game ranked eighth in the league.

All-Americans were chosen by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from coaches and conferences across the country.
