Five Conference Carolinas baseball teams mentioned in NCAA Southeast Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS – In the latest set of regional rankings, Conference Carolinas has five members among the top nine ranked in baseball.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Baseball Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections.

Conference Carolinas has five members ranked in baseball, North Greenville (2nd), Mount Olive (3rd), UNC Pembroke (4th), Young Harris (5th) and Barton (8th). North Greenville owns records of 41-12 overall and 38-12 in region while Mount Olive is 37-16 overall and 34-16 in region. UNC Pembroke is 41-12 overall and 40-12 in region contests while Young Harris is 39-13 overall and in region games while. Barton owns records of 34-16 overall and 29-16 in region games.

The NCAA selection show for baseball is scheduled for Sunday, May 12 at 10:00 p.m. on NCAA.com.
