Six student-athletes, six teams earn USTFCCCA All-Academic awards

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2024 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Track and Field All-Academic Athletes and Teams on Monday.

Conference Carolinas had six student-athletes and six teams earn the honors. Mount Olive had five individual recipients while Lees-McRae had one.

The five Trojan student-athletes to earn the recognition were Adrienne Crawford, Karla Hormazabal, Kamden Johnson, Elin Rydqvist and Danielle Trimbur. Lora Dillon earned the honor for Lees-McRae.

King and North Greenville had both the men’s and women’s programs earn team awards while the Lees-McRae and Mount Olive women’s teams were also recognized.

To be named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Student-Athlete, honorees are required to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25, completed at least 24 semester hours/36 quarter hours through the end of the semester and have achieved an automatic- or provisional qualifying mark.

To be named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Team, programs must have a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution’s NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field of 3.0 or higher.
