Stigler led the Bobcats to a 3-0 week with a sweep over West Alabama, and two four-set victories against Bluefield State and UVA Wise. In three matches, the junior posted 35 total kills in 11 sets played for an average of 3.18 kills per set. She also posted an attack percentage of .205 and added eight service aces. Stigler started the season with a double-double against Bluefield State with 14 kills and 12 digs. For the week she averaged 2.64 digs per set with 29 total digs while posting four total blocks. She matched her career-high with five service aces in the win over West Alabama.

Arroyo helped the Valkyries get off to their best start in over a decade with a 3-1 record this past week. The Valkyries took wins over Valdosta State, Erskine, and Winston-Salem State. The sophomore posted a pair of double-doubles, coming against Valdosta State (24 assists and 24 digs) and Winston-Salem State (19 assists, 12 digs). In four matches last week she averaged 5.50 assists and 3.50 digs per set.
