GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas had 10 individuals honored when the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced their All-American Scholars this week.
Barton led the league with five honorees, headlined by three-time honorees Elyse Godding and Grace Greene. Sarah Larkins earned the distinction for the second time while Terra Schmitt and Morgan Harold rounded out the Bulldog contingent.
Young Harris had three individuals recognized, Tamara Brito, Connor Johnson and Lucy Wiegert.
Converse rounded out the group with a pair of selections, Eleanor Lim and Elle Webber.
A total of 1,497 student-athletes were recognized. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season and have played in 50 percent of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship.
