Ashlyn Stone | Mount Olive | OH | Senior | Rougemont, N.C.

A native of Rougemont, North Carolina, Stone averaged 3.88 points, 3.19 kills, and 4.31 digs per set, as the Trojans competed in four matches over the weekend at the Mount Olive Invitational. She finished with 14 kills, 13 digs, three assists, and one service ace in a five-set match against Edinboro on Friday. In the evening, Stone recorded her second double-double of the day with 11 kills and 19 digs while adding three aces against Lenoir-Rhyne.

On Saturday, she totaled six kills, 15 digs, one ace, and one block against Concord. Later that day, Stone delivered an impressive performance with 20 kills on a .439 hitting percentage while adding 22 digs, six assists, and five aces in a 3-1 victory over Shaw.

Day helped the Valkyries go 2-2 this past weekend at the Charleston Invitational and 3-2 for the week. Tallied 143 total digs last week for an average of 6.81 digs per set. Over the weekend, Day posted 37 digs against Roberts Wesleyan and 33 against Elizabeth City State on the opening day of the tournament. She posted three matches with at least 30 digs, including 46 in a comeback 3-2 win at Mars Hill on Tuesday.

Kimaiyo finished second overall and first among NCAA Division II runners at the Chanticleer Challenger with a 5k time of 18:46.3. That marks the 13th fastest 5K time in UNC Pembroke history.

Kilpatrick was the top finisher for the Tornado for the second weekend in a row, finishing 53rd at the Fire Tower Project. He finished with a 58 second personal record, crossing the finish line with an 8k time of 26:19.14.
