Long put together a strong week over the course of two matches for the Crusaders. She finished with one goal and five assists over two matches in wins over Emory & Henry and Emmanuel. She had two assists in the 2-0 win over the Wasps on Wednesday and a goal and three assists in the 5-2 victory over the Lions. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Previous Winners
Taylor Primack | Barton | GK | Senior | Lindenhurst, Ill.

The Barton senior goalkeeper posted a pair of shutouts in the Bulldogs' 1-0-1 week. She started by making six saves in a 0-0 draw with Coker on Wednesday in the home opener. She then finished the week with six more saves in 4-0 win over Virginia State. Primack now has three consecutive shutouts and a current 0.75 goals-against average for the year.

Fontes netted one goal in a 2-0 victory at Anderson and followed that with two goals on Saturday in a 2-1 victory over Conference Carolinas preseason favorite Chowan.

Alberto Aragoneses Lablanca | Francis Marion | GK | Senior | Madrid, Spain

Aragoneses Lablanca allowed only one goal in 180 minutes of action last week. He started the week by making four saves on seven shots in a 0-0 draw with fifth-ranked Wingate University. He then earned the win in a 2-1 win over Southern Wesleyan University during which he faced five shots and made four saves.
