GREENVILLE, S.C. – The women’s golf coaches have picked Erskine College as champions in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Preseason Poll, the conference office announced on Thursday.
The Flying Fleet earned 97 points and eight first place votes to sit atop the poll ahead of the University of Mount Olive’s 82 points. Emmanuel University came in third with 71 points and one first place vote. Belmont Abbey College and Converse University round out the top five with 68 and 60 points, respectively.
The final two first place votes went to Barton College and King University who were selected sixth and seventh, respectively. The Bulldogs earned 58 points while King earned 46 points. North Greenville University (45), UNC Pembroke (39), Young Harris College (21) and Shorter University (18) rounded out the poll.
The 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship will take place at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina from Sunday, April 6-Tuesday, April 8.
The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and they can't vote for their own school.
