Erskine picked atop Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – In the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Preseason Poll, Erskine University is picked as champions by the league’s women’s tennis coaches, the conference office announced on Friday.

The Flying Fleet won a share of the 2024 Conference Carolinas regular season and won the tournament title as they are picked atop the poll with 132 points and seven first place votes. Co-champion Lees-McRae College is picked second with 122 points and five first place votes while Belmont Abbey College is third with 121 points.

2024 co-champion Barton College earned the final first place vote and is picked fourth with 115 points. Young Harris College rounds out the top five with 99 points as they are followed by the University of Mount Olive with 87 points.

Francis Marion University (76), Emmanuel University (67), Converse University (65), North Greenville (50), Shorter University (32), Chowan University (30) and King University (18) rounded out the poll.

The 2025 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship is scheduled to take place from Thursday, April 24-Sunday, April 27 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina.

The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and they can't vote for their own school.
