GREENVILLE, S.C. - Conference Carolinas, in partnership with the South Atlantic Conference the 2025-26 season will be the second for women’s wrestling and the first as an NCAA Championship. King University won the inaugural title, and the Tornado are picked to repeat this season.
King received 6-of-8 first place votes (teams can't vote for themselves) and 45 total points to take the top spot. The Tornado were followed by the University of Mount Olive and Emmanuel University who were tied for second with 37 points apiece. Emmanuel received one first place vote.
Allen University (29), Emory & Henry University (25), Bluefield State University (22), Newberry College (16) and Lincoln Memorial University (13) rounded out the poll. Lincoln Memorial received the final first place vote.
The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
