INDANAPOLIS. – The first NCAA Regional Rankings were released on Wednesday for men's and women's soccer and Conference Carolinas has four institutions in the rankings.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Soccer Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections. The first set of rankings the institutions are listed alphabetically.
MEN'S REGION RANKINGS | WOMEN'S REGION RANKINGS
In the men's soccer super-region 2 rankings, two Conference Carolinas members are ranked. Chowan University and Young Harris College are both under consideration. The Hawks are 8-3-3 on the season while the Mountain Lions own a 10-1-3 mark.
In the women's southeast rankings, Belmont Abbey College and Francis Marion University are both under consideration. The Crusaders are 11-4-1 on the season while the Patriots own a 14-0-0 mark.
The NCAA rankings will come out again on November 5 and 12 before the selection shows for men's and women's soccer are scheduled for Monday, November 177 on NCAA.com.
