GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Developmental Championship is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 3 at Belmont Abbey College.

The championship, which is unique championship opportunity for developmental teams within Conference Carolinas, features five women’s volleyball teams that will compete at Belmont Abbey on Monday, November 3.

The tournament will start at 12:00 p.m. with all matches being best 2-of-3 sets, starting with the Erskine College against Shorter University. King University will then take on Belmont Abbey at 1:45 p.m. The winner of that match will face Chowan at 3:30 p.m.

At 5:15 p.m., there will be a consolation round featuring all teams that are 0-1 through the first three matches of the day. The championship match will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. and will feature the winners of the 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. matches.

In the 2025-26 season Conference Carolinas is scheduled to host a developmental championship in men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s wrestling, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball. The developmental teams will be composed of student-athletes that have either not competed at the varsity level in 2025-26 or have competed sparingly at the varsity level by the time of the championship.
